subject is too dark is an exciting new show by Connection Dance Works. The creation process began in early 2018 and continued over the course of several workshop sessions utilizing the principles and practice of Authentic Movement.

“We don’t really know what’s going on. It’s dark, there’s life, and everything changes. We start with our eyes closed, and wait for something to happen.

Our bodies, when paid attention to, produce amorphous inner impulses and images that we can translate into movement and sound.

We think we might just be human.”

 -Sarah Power, Artistic Director
