PERSPECTIVE
share your memories!
Connection Dance Works is reaching out to past choreographers, dancers and musicians who have participated in our PERSPECTIVE series and audience members who have been to past performances. This is part of a project for our 10-year anniversary of PERSPECTIVE, an evening of dance and discussion. Your support, participation and collaboration has helped shaped our company.
We invite you to share stories, memories, photos and even videos of yourself recalling a memory from a PERSPECTIVE you have performed in or attended!
The first PERSPECTIVE was held on December 4th, 2010, at the Saint John Theatre Company and has become a bi-annual series.
The platform has expanded to include the New Music, New Dance Residency working in partnership with Resonance New Music and a choreographic mentor each year. We have been fortunate to work with many artists from across the Atlantic Region and the rest of Canada throughout the years and we would love to hear your memoires and 'perspectives’!

PERSPECTIVE
an evening of dance and discussion
The PERSPECTIVE series is unique in New Brunswick. Performances are open to the public, and audience members are treated to an intimate evening of dance works in progress. They hear directly from choreographers and musicians about the creation process, and are then given an opportunity to share their thoughts on each work.
Artists receive valuable and immediate audience feedback. Seeing things from different perspectives helps to further develop the work for the artists.
