Connection Dance Works is committed to providing performance and training opportunities for local emerging choreographers and dancers.

One successful applicant will have the opportunity to create and produce an original contemporary/modern work with the guidance and mentorship of Connection Dance Works. The proposed project will be performed during the PERSPECTIVE Series (a forum for choreographers to receive feedback on their works hosted by CDW).

The emerging choreographer will attend workshops offered by professional visiting dance artists, collaborate with an emerging musician to create an original score for the work, and receive feedback and advice from CDW’s guest mentor for the PERSPECTIVE creation lab.
